JHANSI: A BJP leader was among three persons killed when alleged supporters of Samajwadi Party hurled bombs and opened fire on the vehicle carrying the victims near Rani Pur town.
The local BJP leader Manoj Shruti and his family members were travelling in car when it was attacked by Samajwadi Party supporters led by a block president Lekhraj, police said.
Shruti and two other family members were killed and two others injured in the attack, sources said adding that senior officials had reached the site and a manhunt had been launched to nab the culprits.
