LOS ANGELES: After months of front-page tabloid rumors, Hollywood stars Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn ended their romance, People magazine reported on its website.

"Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today," Stephen Huvane and John Pisani, who represent the stars, told People in an exclusive report published late on Tuesday.

Aniston, 37, known the world around as a star of the long-running TV comedy Friends, and Vaughn, 36, who co-starred in the The Wedding Crashers, began dating when the two met during the filming of The Break-Up.

Aniston's love life has been the focus of intense news coverage ever since she divorced mega-star Brad Pitt.

They split up in 2005 after a five-year fairy-tale marriage matching two of the film and television industry's biggest stars.

Some reports said that Aniston had rebuffed Pitt's desire to have a child.

Even before the divorce was finalized Pitt started an affair with Angelina Jolie, and the two have since had a child together.

Aniston is one of the top 10 highest paid Hollywood actresses according to the Hollywood Reporter trade publication.
