On World Aids Day, New Delhi will see a few film and television stars putting up acts as part of a charity show.

Television actor Mona Singh aka Jassi will be dancing with HIV positive kids under the baton of Shiamak Davar.

She says, “I was in New Delhi for another charity event for the underprivileged kids, when the organisers asked me to do it and I immediately said yes. I am yet to start rehearsing for the show; all I know is that I would be dancing with a few HIV positive kids. I think people like us should come forward and make people aware of these things. This would make a difference.”

Rahul Bose says he is going to be talking to people about how AIDS can be one of the dangerous ‘Pyar Ke Side Effects’. He says, “I cannot possibly dance on the stage, it’s not in my DNA. But I will definitely have a conversational kind of a thing on stage where I will give information on AIDS.” Shilpa Shetty and Kailash Kher are also expected to perform at the event, being organised by National Aids Control Organisation (NACO).
