Mamata Banerjee discharged from hospital

Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee was on Wednesday night discharged from a city clinic where she was admitted on September 28 with complaints of breathlessness and chest pain, a party leader said.

KOLKATA: Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee was on Wednesday night discharged from a city clinic where she was admitted on September 28 with complaints of breathlessness and chest pain, a party leader said.
 
Banerjee's condition was better but the doctor advised her rest for some days, Trinamool Congress leader Sougata Roy said.
 
Banerjee felt unwell while attending a joint rally with the Congress on September 27 to protest the police lathicharge on a Trinamool dharna led by her two days back at Singur in Hooghly district to oppose the Left Front government's acquisition of farm land for Tata Motors proposed small car factory there. Later, a blood clot was detected in her chest during observation.
