Schumacher to reveal future plans at Italian GP

BERLIN: Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher said on Sunday he would make an announcement on his Formula One future at next week's Italian Grand Prix amid speculation he may retire from the stop.            

The 37-year-old Schumacher, whose contract ends at the end of this season, refused to answer questions on whether or not he was poised to hang up his helmet and overalls.            

"We've fixed everything for Monza," Schumacher said during a Ferrari function at the Nurburgring circuit.             

Ferrari are ready to offer Schumacher a new contract but the driver has refused to indicate he would continue in the sport.
