SRINAGAR: A team of Mumbai police on Saturday arrested a man here wanted in a robbery case in the commercial capital and was granted a transit remand by a local court.

A team of the Mumbai police Anti-Terrorist Squad assisted by local police arrested Abdul Ahad Khan and later produced him before Srinagar Chief Judicial Magistrate M Y Akhoon.

The court granted a three-day transit remand to the police team and directed them to produce Khan before a magistrate in Mumbai.

In his order, Akhoon said the investigation showed Khan's involvement in the case lodged in Agripada police station in Mumbai.
