Viscera report debunks conspiracy theory

NEW DELHI: The conspiracy theory, being bandied by some quarters in Rahul Mahajan’s defence, was refuted on Wednesday by the facts of Vivek Moitra’s viscera report.

The Central Forensic Science Laboratory, which examined Moitra’s viscera, concluded that the cause of death was an overdose of cocaine and heroin.

Earlier, Maharashtra BJP leader Gopinath Munde had championed a conspiracy theory suggesting that the incident represented an attempt to kill Moitra and Mahajan.
