The Mumbai Police are close to solve the mystery of in whose room in Akashwani MLA's hostel did the terrorists carrying huge arms and ammunitions stayed on May 8 night.

They are zeroing in on Rashid Sheikh, Congress MLA from Malegaon and Faujia Khan, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLC from Parbhani.

Another Congress MLC from Sillod Sheikh Abdul Sattar Abdul Nabi, who too is figuring on the list of suspected legislators whose rooms in Akashwani MLA's hostel, was used by terrorists.

Faujia Khan's room number 403 and Sheikh's room number 501 are the two rooms that were under scanner, police sources said. Highly placed sources in the Home Department also confirmed this and told DNA, "The city police have been asked to question regular visitors of the rooms and also the staff of Akashwani MLA's hostel. But department does not have any evidence so far to hint involvement of legislators in this case."
