Pune will not get water tomorrow

Following necessary and urgent repair work at water purification centres of Parvati, Cantonment, Vadgaon Budruk, SNDT/Warje and Yerawada, the city will experience a complete water cut on Thursday. Moreover, the water supply will be supplied with less pressure on Friday.

The areas falling under the Parvati water purification centre are all peth areas, Dattawadi, Rajendranagar, Deccan, Shivajinagar, Swargate, Satara Road, Katraj, Bibvewadi, Kothrud, Karvenagar etc. Hingne, Vadgaon, Bharati Vidyapeeth and Dhankavdi falling under the Vadgaon water purification centre will not receive water.

The entire cantonment area, Pune station area, Koregaon Park, Yerawada, Vishrantwadi, Ahmednagar Road and Kharadi will not receive water for repair work at the Cantonment water purification centre.

Pashan, Aundh, Khadki, Janwadi, Bavdhan, University of Pune, Warje Malwadi, Dhanori and Kalas will also not
receive water.
