Two women caught in CCTV stealing ornaments from Chinchwad shop

Chinchwad police have appeal to citizen to beware and alert if they found two women in the age group between 25 to 30 who under the pretext of purchasing gold from a gold shop allegedly steal gold ornament. A case has been registered with Chinchwad police on November, 2013 where the Chinchwad based jeweller Rakesh Jain (38) had lodged a complaint with police against two unidentified woman who had allegedly stolen gold bracelet estimated worth of Rs 42,000.

C A Sangle inspector in-charge of Chinchwad police station said, "The incident had took place on November 2013 but we have learnt these women still are on run and disguised as customer and still continue to steal. The footages were not clear we had sent to Mumbai to get clear picture and recently we got them."
