Sunday, 22 June 2014 - 9:13am IST | Place: Pune | Agency: dna

Some students, who are applying for class XI admission through online centralised admission process, on Saturday faced technical issues while filling up the option form in which students have to select preferences of colleges. However, the deputy director office, which is executing the entire process of class XI admission said there is no software glitch and blamed students who might have committed mistakes while entering the details. A student from a city school, who secured 55% marks in SSC said, “While filling up the college preferences, I could not select preferences of some colleges which cut-offs were near to my marks.”

Students have been given booklets in which there is a list of colleges and their cut-offs and on that basis, the students are directed to check the cut-off percentages and select the college code.
However students trying to select certain colleges matching their SSC marks, the system was not allowing. Another student said unless and untill, the form is not completed, the system does not allow you to submit and confirm as the fields remain unfilled.

So far, 68,000 students have logged in to the system and only 24,000 havebeen  able to complete the process by submitting and confirming the forms successfully.
