A 23-year-old student has lodged a complaint against an airline training institute alleging that he was cheated by the institute.
Anwar Akbar Shaikh lodged an FIR at Koregaon Park police station against Frankfinn Institute on Bund Garden Road. The student claimed that the institute had promised to give him seven certificates after the completion of the course but gave only five, thereby hampering his future job prospects.

According to the complainant, Shaikh has enrolled for the course in December 2008. After the successful completion of the course in July 2013, Frankfinn Institute gave him only five of the seven promised certificates.

The institute’s PR and corporate communication head Samir Valia said, “If the student felt that he has been cheated, he should have approached us and not the police and media. We know for a fact that he was given several chances for job placement as well but he did not make the cut.”
