Shiv Jayanti: Traffic diversion tomorrow

On occasion of Shiv Jayanti procession which is to be celebrated on Wednesday, the city traffic police have diverted the major roads in the city due to which the roads will be closed for vehicular traffic between 10 am to 6 pm.

On the occasion of Shiv Jayanti procession to be carried in different parts of the city on Wednesday, the city traffic police have diverted traffic on major roads. The roads will be closed for vehicular traffic between 10 am and 6 pm. 

The traffic police have appealed to citizens to avoid the road leading to Bhavani Mata Mandir, Ramoshi Gate, Quarter Gate, AD Camp Chowk, Laxmi Road, Sonya Maruti Chowk, Sonya Maruti Chowk, Phadke Haud Chowk, Lal Mahal. 

The alternative routes are Rasta Peth, Kasewadi Road, Nana Peth, Appa Balwant Chowk. In Pune Cantonment Area, the procession will begin from 8.30 am from Azam Campus via Golden Silver Jubilee Petrol Pump. Later at 10.22 am, another procession from Lal Mahal will lead to Shivajinagar. The third procession will take place at 4 pm and begin from Bhawani Mata Mandir and end at Shivajinagar.
