Shell out more for travelling to Dubai from Pune from May 1

Pune: If you are planning to travel to Dubai then be prepared to shell out additional money and travel 65 kilometer and an hour extra, as the flight from Pune to Dubai will ber diverted to Sharjah, during the temporary runway closure at Dubai airport for three months this summer.
The work on runway at Dubai international airport will be carried out between May 1 and July 20. The Air India express flight from Pune-Dubai will now be operating between Pune-Sharjah international airport during this period.
Air India express is operating three flights in a week from Pune to Dubai.Station Manager of Air India, Dhairyasheel Vandekar said, “As soon as we were informed about the closure of Dubai runway we updated the changes on our website so that passengers are not inconvenienced.”
