Salesgirl molested in PMT bus while returning home

Pune: The Shivajinagar police have arrested a person for allegedly molesting a sales girl in a PMPML bus on, Sunday night near Modern College, Shivajinagar area. The incident took place when the girl was on her way to home after finishing her work.
The arrested person has been identified as Sidharth Jairam Yadav, a resident of Kondhwa. However, the accused had claimed that he was falsely implicated in the case and denied all charges which have been slapped against him by the police.

According to the police, the girl is working in a private mall in the city. On Sunday night, she picked the bus from Dyneshwar Paduka stop while Jadhav was already in. When the bus came near to the college, Jadhav had allegedly tried to molest the girl but she ignored it once. However, when Jadhav did the same thing again the girl informed the bus conductor and fellow passengers in the bus. Thereafter, alerted Jadhav tried to run away from the bus, but later he was chased and caught by the passengers.
Meanwhile, one of the passengers alerted the police and consequently, he was handed over to the police. Police sub inspector DS Patil of Shivajinagar police station is probing the case further.
