Retain team work, NDA cadets urged

296 cadets of 125th course pass out

It was a moment of pride and joy for 296 cadets from the 125th course of the National Defence Academy (NDA) when they passed out from the prestigious defence academy after an impressive Passing-out-Parade, which was reviewed by Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal NAK Browne on Saturday. 

The parade was attended by the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Command Lt Gen Ashok Singh, Commandant of NDA, Air Marshal Kulwant Singh Gill, Deputy Commandant Rear Admiral Anand Iyer and other senior officers from the armed forces and parents of cadets. 

Addressing the cadets after the parade, Air Chief Marshal NAK Browne urged them to maintain team work and synergy even after passing out from the NDA.

He said, “During the six terms of training, you have learned the lessons of jointmanship and it is very essential that you retain essential qualities of team work and synergy. Any future operational response will demand an integrated strategy and employment of service specific strengths in a joint operation. Therefore, as you grow in you career, you should translate into greater jointmanship at every stage in your career.”Browne also advised the passing-out cadets to be prepared to face a multitude of challenges. “The onerous responsibilities you will be shouldering from now on, would demand tremendous maturity, courage and stamina. The single-minded focus and firm determination I see on the faces of cadets, re-affirms my faith that the future of out great nation is in the safe hands,” Browne said.
