Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray said that Congress is back to its old ways of vote appeasement.
Thackeray was speaking to the media in Nashik where he is on a two-day visit to oversee the development works and the functioning of the MNS led Nashik Municipal Corporation.
Speaking to the media after the felicitation of elected MNS corporators at the recently held Jalgaon Municipal Corporation elections, Thackeray bashed Congress for the state cabinet’s decision to grant aid to Madarssas.
“This is a vote appeasement move with the Lok Sabha elections in mind. It is Congress’ old habit,” he said.
On the issue of Mumbai municipal commissioner’s orders prohibiting sale of non-vegetarian products during the Jain Paryushan period, Thackeray said, “How come the order comes now and was not effected during the month of Shravan?
