Pune: With the pre-monsoon showers already hitting the city, it is time for Puneites to actually start up with their preparations for monsoon.According to the information given by the India Meteorological Department officials, the monsoons have already entered the southwest and the central parts of the Bay of Bengal.
Though it is too early to predict the arrival of monsoon in and around the city, there are maximum chances that the monsoon will reach the city in the first week of June.According to the weather forecast given by IMD, rain or thundershowers would occur in some areas of the city in the next two days and the maximum temperature would be around 37 degree Celsius. The city will witness a partly cloudy weather for the next one week. Citizens are advised to carry raincoats and umbrellas while stepping out, as there is a high possibility of sudden rain showers.
