Pune rural police woman constable held for murder

A woman constable was arrested by Loni Kalbor police on Monday for allegedly killing her neighbour, who was pregnant.
The arrested constable has been identified as Rupali Khedekar (27) attached to the Loni Kalbor police station with Pune rural police. This is the case of the murder of Usha Bhosale (25) and the case has been filed against Khedekar on Monday afternoon. The incident took place around 12.30 on Monday.

Abhiman Pawar inspector in-charge of Loni Kalbor police station who is investigating the case, said,

“Both used to fight on petty issues and on Monday, there was a heated argument between them.

For two hours Khedekar did not open the door. Khedekar was hiding in balcony, while Usha’s body was found in bathroom.
