Pune: The parents of 11-year-old CSA victim demanded that the probe initiated by the school must be conducted by a team of a government employee, a police officer and a member of NGO for the fair and unbiased result.
Demanding justice for the victim, agitated parents and students staged protest outside the school premises on Monday. To pacify the agitators, the school management has constituted a probe team and initiated an enquiry against the teacher who claimed the girl was mad, the principal and the school director to whom the victim’s parents had complained in January. The schools has assured the parents that the inquiry will be completed within 15 days.
Meanwhile, the victim’s parents claim that the school has not approached them to know the facts.
Speaking to dna, victim’s father said, “I do not trust the school any more as they have ruined my daughter’s life and have shattered our family. The school management is just covering up their skins, which is reflected in media reports and we are hurt and disturbed by it. We want a fair probe.”
In the meantime, the school on Tuesday distributed letter to students addressing parents about the ‘Parent’s Teacher Association’ and asking them to give their suggestions for nomination of representative for the executive committee. The school has given April 26 deadline. An election will be held in the school on May 3.
Senior inspector of Wanowrie police station said, “The school will submit the final report to us. Those who found guilty will not be spared.”
