Shinde was later taken into custody and brought to Pune.
The team is expected to reach the city late Wednesday night.
Ramnathi Ashram, located about 30 km from Panji in North Goa’s Ponda, is the headquarters of Sanatan Sanstha. A Pune police officer said, “We had sent our teams to Goa and were working on a particular lead for the past couple of days. We picked this person on suspicion and will question him in detail.”
The said Hindu outfit was on the radar of the state government following Dabholkar’s daylight murder.
