Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched the ‘MY BSNL App’ which will enable landline and broadband customers to pay their bills using their Android phone.
Postpaid customers (landline/ GSM/ CDMA/ WIMAX) can now pay the bills through various selective options like credit cards, debit cards, cash cards, netbanking and IMPS.
Prepaid customers (GSM) can also top up their BSNL mobiles through the system. They have to load a specific tariff or plan voucher for the payment.
In both the cases, the customers will be provided with a payment receipt. An SMS-based fault booking system for landline and broadband customers is also part of the new app, where customers can book their fault by sending SMS on 54343.
The service was launched at Samvad Auditorium at YASHADA in the presence of Rakesh Kumar Upadhyay, chairman and managing director of BSNL.
The company had launched landline, broadband, GSM mobile and internet services.
