Pune: Unidentified persons allegedly hacked email ID of former PCMC commissioner and present Inspector General of Registrations and Controller of Stamps, Pune Shirkar Pardeshi.

Prima facie Cyber Crime Cell (CCC) of Pune police have claimed that it could be an act of Nigerian fraudsters following which they have sent a mail to Google in order to establish the link in the case.
The incident came to light when Pardeshi got a call from his friend on April 17 informing him that they have got mails from his account.
Speaking to dna, Pardeshi said, “The fraudsters had hacked the mail account and changed my password. After that they sent mails to my friends. I was not aware of it till my friends informed me. I have registered a case with the CCC.” Senior police inspector Sushsma Chavan who is investigating the case, said, “We have taken all the details. We have also asked details from Google.”
