NCP promises aid to students

The NCP announced three numbers for round-the-clock assistance to NE students in case of any emergency.

The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Sunday assured students from the North East that the party would ensure their safety, besides providing necessary assistance in the hour of crisis. The NCP announced three numbers for round-the-clock assistance to NE students in case of any emergency.

The NCP had organised a meeting of students from North East states at Symbiosis Vishwa Bhavan on Sunday morning. Around hundred students participated in the meeting that was attended by NCP city unit president and Rajya Sabha MP Vandana Chavan, Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) standing committee chairman Baburao Chandere, NCP leader of the house in PMC, Subhash Jagtap, former standing committee chairman Nilesh Nikam along with the others.
