'My brother is not involved in JM Road blasts'

Sayed Faiyaz, brother of alleged Indian Mujahideen (IM) operative Sayed Feroz claims that his brother is not involved in the JM Road blasts.

Faiyaz said, “My brother is not involved in the blasts but still has been arrested.”

Pune Anti Terrorist Squad on Saturday questioned Faiyaz.

His brother Sayed Feroz has been arrested by the Delhi police for his alleged involvement in Pune serial blast case.

Feroz was brought to Pune by the Delhi police on Saturday, prior to which Pune ATS questioned Faiyaz, a resident of Shukrawar Peth area.

He added, “I was in the ATS office from 10am to 5pm on Saturday. I have co-operated with them and I have given them all the information I had about Feroz.”

He added, “My parents had requested the police to allow them to meet Feroz after he was brought to Pune, however, their request was denied.”
