Kadam, Moghe assure consultation with warkaris

The cabinet ministers met the warkari delegation at Nagpur.

After a demonstration held at Nagpur by warkari and Hindu organisations, cabinet ministers Patangrao Kadam and Shivajirao Moghe assured them that the anti-superstitions bill will not be passed without prior consultation and discussion with these organisations.

Rashtriya Warkari Sena along with other Hindu organisations had staged demonstration at Nagpur regarding the anti-superstition bill. The winter session of the state assembly is underway at Nagpur.

President of Rashtriya Warkari Sena Navruttimaharaj Vakte, president of Warkari Prabodhan Samiti Rameshwar Shastri Maharaj, Hindu Janjagruti Samiti national spokesperson Ramesh Shinde, Sanatan Sanstha spokesperson Abhay Vartak, ISCON representative Parmatma Bandhu, Dharmashree organisation representative Sandeep Mahindra and Bapu Maharaj Ravkar led the demonstration.

Maharashtra minister for social justice Shivajirao Moghe, minister for forests Patangrao Kadam and presiding officer of the state legislative council Shivajirao Deshmukh met the delegation of warkari and Hindu organisations leaders.

While addressing the rally at the Nagpur, Vakte Maharaj and other leaders of warkari organisations cautioned that Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party will face the music during the upcoming elections if they pass the legislation. The warkari leaders termed the legislation anti-Hindu and asked the government to do away with it.
