Indian Meteorological Department forecasts rain in Pune in the next 48 hours

Bid goodbye to dry spell in few days: IMD Monsoon likely to advance in next 48 hours

Pune: After covering Mumbai and reaching up to the doorsteps of Pune, the southwest monsoon has not made any further advancement in last 24 hours. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), however, the monsoon is likely to advance further in the next couple of days.

“The conditions is becoming favourable and it is likely to make some advancement in next couple of days. At present, the monsoon has covered Veraval, Surat, Sangli and Belari areas.”
Predicting the forecast in next couple of days, IMD experts said that in next 48 hours, most parts of Konkan and Goa and some parts of central Maharashtra, Vidarbha and Marathwada are likely to get few spells of rain
