Pune: Since, the Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results are already out, the state board students are also eager to know their results. It is speculated that the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will declare the results of Class X and Class XII by the end of this month or by June first week.

There were approximately 15 lakh students who had appeared for Class X examinations, whereas for Class XII, 12 lakh students had appeared.
While speaking to dna, the chairman of the board, Gangadhar Mhamane said that they will soon announce the dates of the results in coming days. He said that last year the HSC results were declared on May 30 and SSC results on June 7. “This time also, we are hoping to declare the results around these dates,” he added.
He said that the CBSE and the ICSE boards declare their results region wise, which makes the entire process a little easier for them. “In our case, we have to prepare the result for entire state which comprised of nine divisions and there are approximately 37 lakhs students from SSC and HSC,” he said.
The secretary of the board, K K Patil said, “While preparing for the final report, they have to see that there should not be any discrepancies and the final report should be error free.”
The board officials however, claim that the HSC result will be out by May 30 as the last minute work is going on to prepare the final report on the results. They said that once the report is finalised, they will declare the result on line.
