Since Thursday, there has been an increase in the number of people gathering funds and bringing help for the villagers, rescue teams and medical officials working tirelessly.
A team from Pimpri-based Gurudwara was one of the groups serving food and water since Thursday evening. "Help from anywhere is a must in such times," said GS Gill, a member.
Among the helpers were also the corporate groups who brought in blankets, rain coats, jackets and food for the rescue operation workers. To coordinate the help groups each day, the Tehsildar's office has made an arrangement where the corporate groups are assigned days for their services.

"All corporate groups wanted to help, so we made an arrangement where each one can come on different days. We have over 50 others who are wanting to help," said BJ Gore, Tehsildar.
Material for Funeral: Common funerals for the villagers have been taking place since Thursday. The medical officers have advised quick funerals as the dead bodies are decomposing. The material for the funerals like the wood, tires and diesel have been sent by ample to the village from the near by villages and help groups from all around the city.
