Hadapsar Garbages: It is like living in Hell for residents

The garbage depot spread in the 23 acre land in Hadapsar industrial estate is causing inconvenience for the residence living in the area. As residents are deprived of fresh air and they are force to breathe the foul smell spread in the air.

On Monday a one year old boy died of fumes emancipating from the garbage depot and an angry mob thrashed the employees at depot, dna paid a visit to the locality and found the misery of the residence.
Several kids had got hospitalized in the past due to similar complaints, especially problem related to their respiration system, efforts of college students had gone in vain as they were unable to appear in their exam due to which they had lost an entire year.

There are few residents who are planning to sell their home and move out of the locality as they just could not bear to live in the mess anymore. With over one tonne of garbage dumped everyday is making things go bad to worse for the localites.
Mangesh Pawar (20), engineering student, resident of Thakkar Niwas said,"After putting all the hard work I was unable to appear for my exams I had problem in my respiratory system and just two days before my exams I was hospitalized for four days."
Nanda Shankar (40), treasure of Thakkar Niwas, said,"There are more than 200 people living in the society, most of the time small children falls ill at least five times in a year. Last year my 15 years old son was admitted in the hospital because of lungs infection. Something needs to be done as the foul smell is creating serious health hazardous issues."
Shyamrao Jamdare (62), resident of Mantri Park said,"I have put in my savings and purchased a house here, because of the foul smell I am unable to sit outside in the garden. Therefore I have decided to move out of the locality and live somewhere as the situation is getting bad to worse."
Praveen Suvarna (32) resident of Shivali Park said,"My six years old son was hospitalized and the doctors claimed that he has respiratory problems and he also had cough and cold for almost six months. It took more than three months for my child to come out of the problem."
