“Health is not being aware of one’s body but being light in the mind.” This is how Dr.Giovanni Dicran Megighian, renowned doctor, therapist and consultant expressed his views about dealing with stress and its effects on the human body.

Dr.Megighian at the exclusive launch of his book “Facial Beauty- Easy and Natural steps to Ageing Well!” on Wednesday spoke about the new technique of ‘Mio-balance’ to feel better, learn to deal with stress and improve one’s  health within minutes.

Dr.Megighian hopes his concept will make the  upper- middle class familiar with a stress-free life, eventually setting an example for the rest of the society.

He further imformed that in India majority of the population between the age of 20 and 35 are susceptible to cognitive diseases related to stress.

Dr.Megighian promotes the idea of practising the ‘Principle of Choice.’ “In today’s world, all devices, which includes ring tones, apps and systems are based on defensive mechanisms. People pick up these habits and the reactions is so negative that it leads to stress.

‘Principle of Choice’ leaves us with an option for considering whether to react or not. We either get into a situations and start getting hassled or we keep calm,take a deep breath and then think with a reposing mind.” he says.

The event was attended by doctors and people who had been treated by Dr.Megighian. They claim that the doctor to be a magician who looks at a patient and detects the problem.

One of his patient said, “After undergoing through a lot of treatment for shoulder pain I met Dr.Megighian. I was surprised when he told me that my shoulder pain generated from my knees. He started treating my knee and eventually my shoulder pain was cured.”

Responding to this, doctor said, “ I am not a magician just a mad scientist. For many years I have worked as a life coach and met so many people and came to know about them. I notice their body postures and realise where they tend to exert the stress, on which body muscle and where the pain lies.”
