Duplicate HP printers seized in Hinjewadi

Pune: The Hinjewadi Police Station along with Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights (EIPR) conducted a raid at Hinjewadi and seized duplicate products that were being stored and sold under the brand name of HP. During the raid, the EIPR representatives and the police came across duplicate packed printers and toners that were being sold under the brand name of HP.
Sanjay Bhanudas Komple, Owner of R.B. Stationers, has been arrested and an FIR has been lodged against the accused. The duplicate products were seized by the police under the guidance of additional commissioner (North Region) Prakash Mutyal and staffers at the police station.
Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights (EIPR) provides governments, businesses and individuals with information, analysis, training, advice and products to mitigate the growing risks associated with white–collar crimes, misuse of property, intrusions to computer networks, e-commerce site construction and usage, fraud, physical attacks, threats, violence, and uninformed decisions based upon incomplete or inaccurate information.
