Children write letters to minister demanding salary of their parents

Pune: Over 1000 families are struggling to meet their expenses as they claim that they have not got salary from Hindustan Antibiotics where they work. The children of 1,100 employees have written letters to the minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers Anant Kumar requesting him to help them get monetary help.
These 1,100 persons are employees of Hindustan Antibiotics based in Pimpri. The workers union claimed that the company is going through tough financial conditions from last couple of years and they have not got salaries from last five months.The new academic year for the children has started, the expenses have increased. Shraddha Bhosle is the daughter of an employee who is struggling to meet expenses. She said, “We want central ministry to provide financial aid to the company which will help my father and other people to get their salaries. We have written letters to the minister requesting him to help the company on priority basis.”
Sunil Pataskar, general secretary of the Hindustan Antibiotics Majdoor Sangh said, “The company played crucial role in the development of areas like Bhosari, Pimpri, Chinchwad but today the company is going through a financial crisis and many of the employees are losing patience.”
