City-based real estate developers Darode Jog Properties and their redevelopment cell - Red Cell - have extended a helping hand to the family of the slain youth, Anuj Bidve by offering them financial help of Rs2 lakh.
A student of micro-engineering at Lancaster University, Bidve was celebrating Christmas with his friends in Salford, UK, when a British national shot and killed him.
While the university waived off Anuj‘s fees, his family that had raised an educational loan for him, faced financial difficulty due to constant trips for the trial and money spent for Anuj’s stay and other expenses in Britain prior to his murder.
Anand Jog and Sudhir Darode, both directors of Darode Jog Properties presented the cheque to Anuj’s father Subhash Bidve in the presence of musician Rahul Ranade and actor Sachin Khedekar. Subhash shared fond memories of Anuj.
