These boys must have not been born when he started playing the game, but he is faster than them on court. Meet Pramod Patwardhan, the 66-year-old official in the city basketball arena.

A former research assistant in political department, University of Pune, Patwardhan matched all the players with his speed marshaling the boy's final during the Mayor's Cup at the Deccan Gymkhana court on Thursday.

It is the basketball which has helped the senior citizen remain a youngster at heart. "I have represented state at the nationals during my hay days and I would say it has been this game which is the mantra behind me being fit," said Patwardhan.

The times must have changed when one talks about the electronic world, but this former employee of University of Pune does have his own funda, as he does not own a cellphone.
