2 arrested for manhandling lady security guard

They are suspected to have duped citizens in land deals

Pune: Kondhwa police have arrested two persons for allegedly molesting a female security guard of a housing society in Kondhwa area. During interrogation, it was revealed that the duo had duped several people in New Delhi by giving false promises of giving good deals in real estate market.
The arrested persons have been identified as Varun Ramkumar Malhotra (26), a resident of Orchid Palace in Kondhwa and Vikas Bhalla (39), Kumar Palm from Undri. Duo has been arrested under the relevant sections of Indian Penal Code, which comprises molestation and an act done by them with common intention. The victim (40), deployed as security guard at Dorabjee Royal Heritage in Mohammadwadi has lodged a complaint with the police. 
Pandharinath Mandhare inspector in-charge of Kondhwa police station said, “It was noon time when the arrested persons along with five others were forcefully trying to enter the society. When questioned by the victim they initially started abusing her and later when she retrained them from entering the premises she was beaten and manhandled.” He added that initially the arrested persons had some business deals with the owners of the Dorabjees. 
ACP Rajan Bhogale (Wanowrie division) said, “After the arrest of duo it has been revealed that they had duped many citizens in New Delhi and we suspect many people from Wanawadi and Kondhwa area has been duped by them the same way. under the pretext of giving them land in the area.”
Duo were produced before the court of judicial magistrate (First Class) and have been remanded to magisterial custody and later granted bail.
