11 y/o dies in a freak accident, strangulated by a swing

An 11-year-old boy, who was trying to tie a rope to the ceiling in order to make a swing, died after he got strangulated by the rope as the stool he was using slipped. The incident took place in Subhashnagar dwelling in Pimpri on Monday evening when the deceased kid was playing in his house.

Police said that when the incident took place, his parents were not at home.

The deceased has been identified as Faizan Usman Memon. As per the information given by the assistant police inspector, Santosh Patil of Pimpri police station said that it seems that the boy who was alone in the house when the incident took place, were trying to tie a rope in order to make a swing and in order to tie the rope to the middle bar of the ceiling, he took scaled on the stool, however while doing this, the stool slipped and he might have got strangulated.

He said that his parents who saw him hanging, immediately rushed him to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Cops said that they need to investigate how he the rope tightened around his neck.
