Although the whole country has welcomed the hanging of 26/11 sole surviving terrorist Ajmal Kasab, the Kamdin family from Pune, who lost their family member in the terror attack, said the move to execute Kasab came too late even as the real planners of the attack continue to remain at large.
A 28 year old Kaizad Kamdin, who was a chef in Taj hotel, was killed in 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Reacting to the execution of Kasab, Astaad Kamdin, younger brother of Kaizad told DNA, " The hanging of Kasab will not bring any change in our family because we have already lost our family member and that loss is not going to recover."
Kamdin family has also criticised government for delay in executing Kasab. Astaad said, " Kasab should have been hanged long back but government wasted four years in executing them. Even after his execution, I am not sure if it will bring any change in the country's security, as the real planners of the Mumbai terror attack are still at large and government is doing nothing to bring them to India."
Vaibhava Rele, a documentary maker from Pune and a survivor of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, does not even want to think about her horrible experience of the attack which had taken place four years back. When DNA contacted Vaibhava, she said, " It was a horrible day. I do not want to comment on the execution of Kasab as I do not want to go back in that horrible thought process again."
