Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Karnataka for two days from August 13 as part of efforts to strengthen the Congress' student wing-National Students Union of India.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Karnataka for two days from August 13 as part of efforts to strengthen the Congress' student wing-National Students Union of India.

As a part of the exercise, Gandhi will interact with students at St.Phelomena college in Mysore and at Shimoga and Dharwad, on August 13, NSUI National President Hibi Iden told reporters in Bangalore.

After a night's stay at Dharwad, Gandhi will travel to Gulbarga for an interaction with students on August 14 and later hold two such sessions in Bangalore's National College and National Law University of India campus.

Rahul Gandhi will interact with Karnataka PCC office bearers and its DCC heads on August 14, KPCC president RV Deshpande said.

Working president DK Shivakumar was also present at the press meet.

NSUI is holding organisational elections across the country.
