HONG KONG, March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG), today announced the rebranding of Chartis Insurance Hong Kong Limited to AIG Insurance Hong Kong Limited( http://www.aig.com.hk ) (AIG Hong Kong), as part of AIG's global rebranding strategy.

AIG Hong Kong has deployed new logo, branding materials and introduced a new brand promise: Bring on tomorrow. The new image of AIG is refreshed to reflect a new chapter in AIG's long history in the market.
"Today marks a new era for our company. Under AIG, we have come together as one powerful, global team to help customers embrace the challenges ahead and solve problems," said Mr. Marc Breuil, President and CEO of AIG Insurance Hong Kong Limited.

The total authorized U.S. government assistance to AIG of US$182 billion has been fully repaid, and the Federal Reserve and United States Department of the Treasury have received a combined positive return of approximately US$22.7 billion on their investments in the company.
