'KGF: Chapter 2': Sanjay Dutt extremely excited for his first Pan-India film

Sanjay Dutt is set to be seen in a deadly look as the main antagonist in KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash in the lead role. Prashanth Neel directs the film, and the makers finally announced the much-awaited release date. Yes, the film is set to hit the big screens on July 16, 2021. Meanwhile, Sanjay is extremely excited to star in his first pan-Indian film and his look has been the most anticipated one in recent times.

A source stated, "Sanjay Dutt is extremely excited for KGF Chapter 2, as it also marks his first Pan India film. The actor managed the schedule for the shoot and ensured that the film shoots, prep and script reading, don't get compromised at all. After hearing the script and narration of the film, it was an instant yes from him."

In KGF: Chapter 2, Sanjay plays the role of Adheera and this is the first instalment in the hit franchise. The film also stars Raveena Tandon in a pivotal role. 

While talking about his role, Sanjay had earlier said, "It is after a long time that such a role was offered to me, I got pumped and excited for it. The character is strong and charged me up to play the role, it was an immediate yes from me!"

Praising Prashanth, Dutt had also said, "Prashanth is a very humble guy, it was a very smooth sailing experience to shoot with him. It was my first time working with him, and I had all the comfort from him, it felt like I was always a part of this KGF universe. I share a great rapport with him now, we have shared a lot of anecdotes. His work style is different and his direction has helped me learn a lot."
