India thumped New Zealand by 190 runs in the fifth and deciding ODI to clinch the series in Visakhapatnam on Saturday.
Amit Mishra picked up a five-for to restrict the Kiwis to a measly 79 in the final ODI on Saturday. He was declared the Man of the Match and also the Man of the Series.
Earlier, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav made healthy contributions to help India reach a respectable total of 269 after selecting to bat.
The win made Team India gain a lot of praise on Twitter with MS Dhoni's boys being hailed for their impressive performance.
