With the microbreweries already abounding and newer ones mushrooming every other day, the pubbing scene in Bangalore is surely something you shouldn't miss. Checkout the charming-old Toit or Biere Club, others happening ones like Prost, 3 Monkeys, Big Pitcher, The Glass House or the latest rage Windmills Craftwork. All of them not only offer you their own unique-tasting brews, but also unique ambience and atmosphere.

Eat, Eat and Eat a lot more!
Where you eat should really depend on what you want to eat, how much you want to spend and what kind of experience you're looking for. For authentic south Indian food head to Vidhyarthi Bhavan in Gandhi Bazar, Davangere Benne Dosa on 4th Block, Jayanagar, MTR on Lalbagh road or Brahmin's Coffee Bar in Basavanagudi. You just won't be able to help but over eat. That's not it. There's an entire street for you to binge at–Food Street. Here you'll surely get your usual suspects like idli, dosa, masala dosa...but you'll also get other stuff you may not have tried earlier if you're not south Indian such as akki roti (made of rice), ragi dosa etc. Some stalls provide upto 12 varieties of corn, a number of sweets, badam milk, pav bhaji, vada pav as well as Indian Chinese.

For casual as well as fine dining 100 Feet road has retaurants galore, but to enjoy Bangalore's amazing weather whilst enjoying a meal head to UB City. While it's largely known for its luxury shops, UB City's quadrangle has an amphitheatre with a multitude of open-air restaurants. Some other must-go places include Biere Street, a restaurant built on a huge open space with walkways that remnid you of European streets, then there's 13th Floor, which gives you a breathtaking view of the city from the 13th floor! And finally The Egg Factory, which as the name suggests has all things eggilicious.

Pick a Park
Whether you have company or you don't parks are always great places to explore. Spread over 100 acres, Cubbon Park is a lush open space with a variety of flowers, where people go to workout, run, walk and do yoga. It has a couple of gardens, lotus ponds, a rosary and more. As with most parks, people seated in calm on the benches and there's a small amusement park for kids too. The other park worth visiting is The Lalbagh Botanical Garden, it's a lovely place for picnics, soak in the greenery, watch vegetables in their different stages or even trek on the small hill inside it's premises. If you're there in January or August, checkout their biannual flower show.

Chase the Culture Corners
Bangalorian book lickers swear by some of the old bookstores like Blossoms Book House on 4th Main Road, and Higginbothams on MG road. They say, "you'll get books here that you may not get anywhere else and also first edition books." Those who are into theatre will fondly speak of the city's much-loved Rangasankara theatre, which shows about 300 plays a year and also has an annual theatre festival. To catch some sun and catch up on your shopping list, it's a good idea to check out one of its many flea markets, of which Sunday Soul Sante is currently the hottest trending with arty ambience, music and kitsch stalls selling curios and food.

Have WILD fun with kids!
Banergutta, an hour from the city centre, is an open zoo where you can take a bus safari and look out for lions, tigers, zebras, elephants, porcupines, rhinos and more... But if you're looking for more exotic breeds of fauna like turkeys, mountain goats, red turtles etc. head to The Martin Farm on Sarjapur road, Chikkabelandur. It not only has a variety of animals and birds, but kids are also allowed to pet and feed them. While it's not too big, lush or fancy, it's has ample place for kids to run and have fun with swings, see-saws and a slide.
