Sealed and buried
Those were the bad old days! Come rains, and the city would be potted with holes (come to think of it, it could have been used for water harvesting). Substandard roads (please don’t get us started on the paver block roads) continue to be across the city but the potholes seemed to be dormant. Of course there were hardly any rains this season to cause damage to the roads, but it looks like it will take a lot more to bring back the rotten days of potholed roads. They were last seen probably in 2005 after the deluge and partially in 2006; since then the bane of any car’s (even a truck’s at times) suspension and axle is hopefully been given a decent burial.
