Two years ago on this very day, arose a symbol of India’s growing might.
Towering over the waters of the Arabian Sea, in a gleam of steel and concrete with its webs of white and shine – the Bandra Worli Sea Link was born. Adorning the Mumbai Skyline with its infant glory, the BWSL went on to becoming an integral artery in Mumbai’s transport system. Two years hence, the structure spans itself across postcards and pictures, illuminating minds with a new prospect and a new hope of a 21st century India.
While many marvel the eight-lane wonder for its aesthetic beauty, the sleek design sprouted primarily from architectural requirements.
