Youth killed in a road accident in Kolhapur

Kolhapur: A 26-year-old youth was killed in a road mishap near Merry Vedar ground here, police said today.

The incident took place last night when the deceased identified as Pradeep Jaysingh was returning home on his motorbike and a sugarcane-laden tractor hit the vehicle, they said.

The victim, who received seriously wounded was rushed to Chhatrapati Pramila Raje (CPR) hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, police added.
