"If Nikam is maintaining that the minister wanted to take the advantage of the Kasab trial in the Lok Sabha election held early this year, the state government should probe into the matter. People of the state have right to know the name of the minister," he urged in the House through point of information.

The state government has assured in the House to make a statement about it on Tuesday.
Shiv Sena MLA Vivek Pandit, in a letter to the speaker of the assembly, has said 26/11 accused David Coleman Headley also had links in the 1993 serial bomb blasts. Demanding probe, Pandit has claimed that he has proof of Headley's involvement.
Pandit said that for the 1993 blasts, a huge amount of RDX was imported in Raigad, where a foreigner was camped in a hotel for several days.

"The foreigner abruptly went missing after the blasts. The hotel management had provided information about him, but the police did not pay heed to it. The links now should be probed in the connection of 26/11," he has stated.

Pandit, who wanted to raise the issue through an adjournment notice, was denied permission. He said the police wanted to "save" a customs officer by neglecting the connection.
