Vora didn’t fancy ‘alcoholic’ Babajee

With the police digging deeper into stock broker Gautam Vora’s past and his link with supermodel Viveka Babajee, new facts have come to light.

Vora has claimed he didn’t want to marry Babajee as she was older than him and an alcoholic. While, Vijay Palande’s wife Simran Sood has said that she wanted to marry Vora.

Earlier, it was revealed that Babajee killed herself after finding out about the closeness between Vora and Sood. Sood and Vora had then parted ways. She got back in touch with him recently.

Meanwhile, the line of investigation has changed as the police believe that the robbery of Karan Kakkar’s BMW and ornaments was not the only motive behind his murder. “The motive has links with his property and Simran Sood,” said a senior officer.

Sood on Thursday was booked in the Arun Tikku case and was sent to judicial custody till May 10 by the Esplanade court. She will be produced in court on Friday.

ACP, crime, Deven Bharti said, “Accused in Kakkar and Tikku murder cases are the same. We are examining Sood’s role in the Tikku case.”
