Unseasonal rains, accompanied with hail lashed Niphad, Yeola, Malegaon and Baglan tehsils in the district damaging the standing crops.
As a result of unseasonal rains, grapes, sugarcane, wheat, and onion crop has taken a severe hit in Manjargaon, Mhalsakore, Thadisarole, Khedlezung, Tarukhedle, and other villages in Niphad tehsil, according to reports reaching headquarters.
Jalgaon, Dhule districts in North Maharashtra also experienced heavy rains last night.
