Friday witnessed two minor accidents involving BEST buses in which an equal number of commuters suffered minor injuries. At around 6am at Kurla (West), two commuters from a BEST bus were injured due to collision with another BEST bus. The commuters went to the Sion hospital for getting first-aid treatment. Seepz area in Andheri was the location for other minor bus collision in which no commuter was injured.
 
An unidentified couple forcibly entered into the flat of a 76-year-old woman at Parsi Colony at Wadala on Friday and robbed her two gold bangles and five wrist watches collectively worth Rs30,000. The incident took place at around 7.15 am. Sushila Shah, 76 years old woman was alone at home while her husband Rasiklal Shah, 83, was gone out. She opened the main door of her flat when somebody rang the doorbell.

After opening the door, she found a couple outside her flat. Before she could ask anything to them, the unidentified forcibly entered into the flat by pushing her and threatened her with dire consequence. The woman removed the two bangles wearing by Sushila while the unidentified man accompanied her went to bed room and forcibly opened the wooden cupboard and took five wrist watches kept in the cupboard. Then the couple went away. 

She narrated the incident to her husband who returned home after half any hour. They then lodged a complaint of robbery at Matunga police station.
